Little Woodies

Join us at Charlotte’s Wood for relaxed and friendly woodland play sessions designed for little explorers aged around 2 to 5 years (younger siblings and children are very welcome too).

We meet every Friday morning during term time, from 10 to 11.30am, for a fun mix of nature-based play and gentle structure. Each week includes:

• Time to explore the woodland
• A warm welcome circle to start the session together
• Free play, with continuous provision including the mud kitchen, digging area, climbing logs, swing and sand
• Seasonal or themed activities such as crafts, campfire cooking, rope bridge challenges, den building or hide and seek
• A chance to come together at the end for snack and story around the campfire

The sessions are designed to help children develop confidence, independence and a love of the natural world, all while having fun and making friends. Parents and carers can enjoy the time outdoors too and connect with others in a welcoming and supportive setting.

There is also the option to book a block of sessions at a reduced rate, thanks to a part-funded place scheme that helps make Little Woodies more accessible for all families.
