Activities Include

Typical Activities at Wild Wood Holiday Club

At Wild Wood, we follow a Forest School ethos, encouraging children to explore, discover and learn through play in the natural environment. Our days are child-led, meaning children can follow their own interests, build confidence and develop independence at their own pace.

There’s a wide range of activities on offer, and while many children enjoy getting stuck into group games or nature crafts, there’s also space for quiet time and reflection.

Whether your child prefers being sociable or having time on their own, we provide a calm and supportive environment where they can relax, connect with nature and simply enjoy being outdoors.

Some of the activities they might choose include:

Whittling – Learn how to safely use tools to shape wood.

Nature Crafts – Make creative projects using natural materials found in the woods.

Den Building – Construct shelters using sticks, leaves and imagination.

Wild Games – Join in fun, energetic games that encourage teamwork and problem-solving.

Exploration and Adventure – Discover hidden corners of the woodland and observe wildlife.

Campfire Cooking – Toast snacks and enjoy simple meals around the fire.

Storytelling and Imaginative Play – Create characters, stories and worlds in the woodland setting.

With no screens or tech. distractions, children have the freedom to build friendships, develop social skills and enjoy the simple pleasures of outdoor play.
